duties:
Installing, testing, troubleshooting, and repairing of wellheads and valves per equipment specifications.
Disassemble, visually inspect and disposition conventional wellhead and single or multi-cavity gate valves, chokes and other standard wellhead components.
Troubleshoot routine installation and operation problems with the above listed products.
Reading and interpreting blueprints and drawings.
Seeking advice from sales, production, engineering on products and installation issues to include process, spares parts, fit and function.
Communicating problems and issues with the job site leader.
Preparing service tickets timely per guidelines.
Minimum Job Qualifications
High school diploma or GED.
Experience with pressure testing and pressure pumping.
Demonstrated strong mechanical aptitude/ ability.
Ability to communicate effectively with customers, visitors, vendors and other employees.
Read and understand oral and written instructions. Take apart and put together equipment according to detailed specifications.
Work in confined spaces, travel to remote locations, to work extended irregular work hours and in extreme weather conditions.
Current valid driver's license and good driving record.
Preferred Qualifications:
Two (2) plus years related Field Service experience.
Direct experience working with and installing wellhead valves, chokes, pumps, valves, christmas valve trees, housing spool rigging mechanisms.
Responsible for the safety of self and others including reporting of all work-related injuries, near misses, equipment damage and unsafe acts as soon as possible to supervisor or senior technician.
Advising customers on repair and replacement options and costs of standard products.
Liaison between company sales, production and engineering personnel and customers on product and product installation issues including but not limited to job procedures, spare parts and fit and function.
Working in MS Office and SAP system.
