We are currently looking for an experienced diesel truck mechanic with extensive job knowledge in the following;
1) ISX15
2) X15
3) Detroit 60 Series
4) Kenworth T-800's
5) Peterbilt 567's
6) Western Star (Only one in fleet)
7) Freightliner (Only on in fleet)
Job Duties Include but not limited to;
Perform minor and major repairs on truck and trailers
a) After-treatment systems
b) Transmissions, Clutches, Differentials
c) Wiring (Truck / Trailer Lighting
d) Brakes (Air-dryers, Adjustments,
Extensive knowledge of CUMMINS INSITE
Conduct regular preventative maintenance on service trucks, including inspection, tire rotation and oil changes
Help maintain parts inventory and cleanliness in the shop
Collaborate with repair team to diagnose problems with vehicles and plan repairs
Perform regular diagnostic tests on trucks
Maintain accurate records of each repair performed on vehicles
Working knowledge of hydraulics (Including; Pumps, PTO's, Challenger Pumps, Fruitland Pumps)
Must be able to lift 60+ lbs.
Monthly Safety Meeting are mandatory.
CDL A is a PLUS
We are looking for someone with EXCELLENT communication skills. Knows how to approach people and problems with a good and positive attitude. Must be able to work independently and be will to be on-call two weeks every month.
Completing thorough work orders and a good attitude are very important here. Must be DEPENDABLE. (Not calling in sick every other week) We have good people working in our shop and office. They come to work and get the job done. We try to keep it light and fun. We are not interested in the fly by nights. This company hauls water for it's parent company, this means we don't fight for contracts. Work is steady and secure. One of the truly secure companies working in the Bakken.
