Link Solutions is seeking a Network Administrator (Mid-Level) to join our team in support of the Air Force's Unmanned Aerial Vehicle operations at Ellsworth AFB, SD.The Network Administrator will support and manage the functionality and efficiency of a group of computers running on one or more operating systems for the Air National Guard's Unmanned Aerial Vehicle operations. You will work across many teams and high-level managers in the organization to design, lead, manage, maintain, track, deploy, implement, troubleshoot, and support the workforce environment. At Link Solutions, you’ll help protect our national security while working on innovative projects that offer opportunities for advancement and growth. Job Responsibilities:Analyze, administer, and maintain voice, video, and/or data communications networks.Manage the usage and performance of voice, video, and/or data communications networks.Maintain network security and ensure compliance with security policies and procedures.Evaluate hardware and software, including peripheral, output, and related equipment.Participate in the development and implementation of network-related procedures and standards.Participate in and may lead aspects of major network installations and upgrades.Interface with vendors to ensure appropriate resolution during network outages or periods of reduced performance.Develop and implement testing strategies and document results.Provide advice and training to end-users.Troubleshoot and resolves complex problems.Provide local on-call/call-back touch labor support.Manage the network components of a global information system.Patch/upgrade firmware, change components, and maintain the network.Configure switches, routers, and crypto devices.Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties, or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
