NumberS47687ContactMichael Smith, SpherionPhone701-412-2914Job DescriptionSpherion Staffing is looking for a Fleet Mechanic Apprentice to provide safe, reliable and cost efficient maintenance by learning to perform quality preventive maintenance inspections and repairs on fleet vehicles. The Apprentice will also be learning to diagnosis and repair as required to prevent breakdowns on road, reduce vehicle down time and improve total fleet reliability.Qualified applicants should have at least 1 year of fleet maintenance/repair experience and be in the process of obtaining mechanic certification.Direct Hire OpportunityMonday-Friday 8 am-5 pmPay $15-18/hour DOEResponsibilities:
Learn to perform quality preventive maintenance, inspections and on all fleet vehicles
Address all Driver Vehicle Inspection Report write ups timely, efficiently and correctly the first time under the guidance of the manager
Diagnose cause of any malfunction and perform repairs to manufacturer specifications
Follow procedures including documenting all work performed on work order using complaint, cause, and correction format under the guidance of the manager
