Position Title: Financial Business Analyst Shift: 1st shift Location: Akron, OH Pay: $50/hr Duties and responsibilities Demonstrating the ability to forge effective working relationships and achieving desired results with employees from various levels as well as 3rd party vendors and consultants
Providing support for project analytics including status reporting, dashboards, financial analysis and other key metrics
Monitoring and reporting progress against project plans and providing presentations to leadership and other ad-hoc presentations
Preparing project accruals and journals, supporting invoice processing
Assisting with preparation of project budgets and financial reports
This position is responsible to provide overall program governance as well as analytical activity to support the implementation of the PA Smart Meter Implementation Program (SMIP) and any future smart meter initiatives in other areas of the FE service territory. The candidate will provide subject matter expertise, leadership, guidance and management of relevant project activities including the project budgets, forecasts, status reporting, accounting management, benefit tracking and business case management.
Specific Project Responsibilities include:
Documenting project policies, procedures, and practices and adherence to all compliance requirements
Maintaining a safe workplace for coworkers and the community based upon knowledge of potential hazards and industry regulations/requirements
Supporting on-boarding, off-boarding of project personnel including vendors and consultants
Providing a high level of customer service, continuous improvement, and proactive communication with leadership team
Support regulatory reporting and requirement tracking activities
Participating and contributing in leadership / team meetings
Making sound decisions by evaluating options with consideration for implications and consequences
Anticipating customer needs and delivering high quality results
