Systems Administrator -Full-Time Direct Hire and Partial Remote
Modis, Inc. is seeking a Systems Administrator for a full-time direct role in Akron, OH with a long-standing and growing employer. The Systems Administrator will work with internal customers, IT team and vendors to develop engineered solutions that meet the needs of the network environment. Qualified candidates will have 2+ years of experience in systems and server administration.
This is an exciting role with a leader in interior design that allows partial remote with occasional on-site.
Systems Administrator Job Responsibilities :
Windows Server Administration including upgrades and DNS/DHCP
VMware Support including vCenter monitoring, alert troubleshooting, restart, power cycling, and Windows Server deployment from template
Network Support including Cisco switches and routers
Firewall Administration
Active Directory Security/Permissions
GPO Administration
Backup Administration
Level 3 Help Desk Support
Account creation
Network Vendor Management
Qualifications:
2+ years of experience within Systems Administration, including Windows Server and VMWare
Experience in Active Directory, network support, and firewalls
Excellent Teamwork skills
Analytical with strong problem-solving skills
Effective verbal and written communication skills
VMware Certifications a plus (VCP, VCP-DCV)
Microsoft Certifications a plus (MCP, MCSE)
