Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance, with experience in both dealership and independent shop environments. This role requires a comprehensive understanding of vehicle systems, diagnostics, and repair techniques to ensure high-quality service for our customers.
Responsibilities
Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks.
Diagnose and repair automotive issues related to engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems.
Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various repairs and maintenance tasks.
Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify potential issues and recommend necessary repairs.
Work on, air brake systems, powertrains, alignments, suspensions, shocks & struts, and other critical components.
Interpret schematics and technical manuals to assist in troubleshooting complex automotive problems.
Provide excellent customer service by communicating findings and recommendations clearly to clients.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols.
Skills
Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in automotive diagnostics and repair.
Familiarity with ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) is preferred.
Experience with GM vehicles is a plus.
Proficient in brake repair, and general vehicle maintenance.
Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in diagnosing issues accurately.
