A real estate company is seeking a technician who has both commercial and residential building maintenance experience to handle plumbing, electrical, drywall repairs, and perform other general building maintenance. You will start at the office, and then, per the work orders, you will take the company van and tools to various locations to make repairs. Most locations are in the Akron area; however, they do have locations in Kent, Louisville, Bedford, Barberton, and others. Work hours are Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.; however, you will be on-call one to two times during the week and one weekend a month.
Qualified candidates must have a High School Diploma or GED, must have at least 1 year prior commercial and residential building maintenance experience, must be detail-oriented and safety-conscious, and must have a valid driver’s license with a clean record. Only candidates that can pass a background, BMV check, and drug screen will be considered. This company offers a great working environment along with benefits upon permanent hire.
