Responsible for leasing apartments, marketing and other management /administrative duties, and maintaining professional and courteous relationships with prospective residents, current residents and other employees.
Leasing: Establishing rapport and determining needs of prospective residents, present property and appropriate apartment, obtain commitment to rent and assist in completing rental applications, follow ups, leases, management software, and assists in lease renewals. Follows Fair Housing Law.
Marketing: Assists in developing and implementation of advertising, promotions, market surveys, and traffic reports.
Management/Administrative duties: Assists in rent collection and move-in, move-out procedures; handles emergencies; maintains log of resident service requests and scheduling maintenance work; and inspects vacant apartments.
Must be able to work 1/2 day every other week on Saturdays. It is a large urban property and can involve considerable walking.
