We are looking to recruit an energetic, reliable courier for a stable and fast-growing company. Our services mirror those of Fed Ex and UPS for customers who primarily ship envelopes, boxes, and other materials locally.
This is a 1099 position.
We are looking for a linehaul driver Monday through Friday. You would pick up our 26' BOX TRUCK from our base in Richfield around 12:15pm. The position consists of staging your route (organizing your boxes) from 12:30-5:15pm at our customer's facility in Aurora, OH. The first few hours will be labor work, as you will be loading your truck. After you receive all of your packages for the day, at 5:15pm, they will release you, and then you will leave and deliver the entire truck's pieces to the UPS (right off the turnpike) in Maumee, OH. They will unload you and you will drive back and return the truck. Only hardworking serious candidates please!
These are the specific requirements. You must:
-be 21 years old.
-be able to pass a background check.
-have no more than 4 points on driving record and no DUI/OVI within last 5 years.
-have at least state minimum liability insurance.
-have smart phone
-be able to drive larger vehicles (24-26' box with lift gate)
-be proficient with Google Maps, Iphone Maps, or a GPS system of choice.
-be well-spoken, polite, and very motivated!
-Please be able to lift up to 75 lbs.
