JOB SUMMARY
We are looking for over the road Oversize Pilot Car Drivers that are interested in escorting over dimensional loads throughout the United States. The position offers consistent pay, detailed training, and paid medical benefits. A qualified candidate for this position has prior experience escorting oversize loads as well as basic securement procedures (utilizing chains, binders, tarps, etc.) JOB REQUIREMENTS Valid Driver's License- CDL Preferred Minimum of 1 year of experience as a pilot car driver or equivalent Ability to maintain a safe driving record and pass a pre-employment drug screening Knowledge of permits for oversize loads is preferred Flexible schedule to be over the road for extended periods of time to meet hauling requirements Excellent communication skills Assisting the truck driver with identifying traffic, obtaining lanes, load securement, and fuel Establish and maintain excellent customer relationships Strong mechanical knowledge and ability preferred Assisting in other operational tasks as designated by supervisor COMPENSATION & BENEFITS Consistent Salary Based Pay w/ Full Benefits Top-of-the-line pickup truck escort vehicles Retirement Planning w/ Company Match Paid vacation/ holiday/ personal days Advancement Opportunities through Training Pass drug and background screen Must be able to lift 70 lbs.
