We are hiring an Independent Contractor for a position in the Akron area. We are looking for a daytime VAN driver to deliver boxes on a route. This is Monday through Friday. Driver must enter POD's (proof of deliveries AKA first and last name of receiver) upon arrival in a link on your smart phone. You must deliver all boxes by 4:00 p.m.
This is one of our greatest customers. We need a driver who knows the geography well and moves quickly.
Please be friendly and well-groomed.
Specific Requirements:
-be at least 21 years old.
-have a later model vancargo or mini.
-have no more than 4 points on your MVR and no DUI/OVI within the last 3 years.
-have at least state minimum liability.
-be able to lift 75 lbs.
-have a smartphone.
-have an active bank account
-be able to use GoogleMaps, iPhone Maps, or a GPS system of your choice.
