12 to 15+ years professional experience in software development. Computer Science fundamentals in object-oriented (OO) design patterns, distributed databases, and data modeling techniques.
Essential requirements:
Strong knowledge of Spring framework, including Spring Boot
Experience with Azure cloud (3-5 years) Knowledge of cloud architecture (Azure) and innate drive to understand how digital trends can be applied to Quest strongly preferred
Strong experience with advanced backend Java / Spring / Weblogic is a must have
Strong knowledge of TDD best practices. Working knowledge of Junit, Mockito, Pact integration
Extensive experience with Maven
Strong knowledge of observables and reactive programming
JBoss and WebLogic experience preferred
Strong knowledge of SOA and microservices architecture
Experience designing, documenting, and implementing REST APIs. Working knowledge of Swagger/OpenAPI
Extensive experience with Git. Experience with GitLab preferred.
Experience with node.js preferred
Knowledge of CI/CD tools and processes required
Working experience of Kubernetes and Docker preferred
Knowledge of Oracle DB and SQL required. PL/SQL experience preferred.
Experience with log analysis tools, especially Splunk, preferred
Experience integrating with IBM MQ and maintaining IBM MQ integrations preferred
Ability to work well with people and be both highly motivated and motivating
Experience in development of distributed/scalable systems and high-volume transaction applications
Experience Scrum, Kanban, and Waterfall SDLC methodologies preferred
Good verbal and written communication skills.
