Job Description

HireTech Group has a client in Cleveland, OH looking for a Report Developer. The Report Developer is a self-motivated highly technical individual who works with customers and peers to design, develop, modify and test reports that meet the customers' needs. This role requires a solid understanding of complex large scale data models for healthcare clinical and business systems and the underlying associated processes. The Report Writer maintains a thorough understanding of all major data sources internal to the organization.

Essential duties:

·Designs and developsreportsusing Microsoft SQLReportingServices platform (SSRS), MS Excel, Pivot tables, SharePoint and other intuitive graphical add-on tool sets. Ensuresreportproducts are efficient and meet all regulatory and security requirements. Develops data extraction and output specifications forreportsbased on analysis of end user's requirements.

·Identifies appropriate data sources for customer requests and ensures data integrity when pulling information into structuredreports.

·Performs code and index reviews with team members in conjunction with the DBA.

·Implementsreportsubscriptions and methods forreportdistribution based on agreed timelines and according to specifications.

·Retrieves data from a variety of database types utilizing T-SQL as may be required.

·Performs quality assurance testing ofreportsand facilitates user acceptance testing (UAT). Ensures quality of thereportsprior to releasing to production. Develops and maintains documentation templates and standards for documentation of data extraction and output specifications,reports, and other requirements.

Experience & Knowledge:

·Knowledge ofreportwritingusing Microsoft SQL ServerReportingServices (SSRS) is required.

·1+ years' experience in IT Healthcare preferred.

·Must work at a very high level of accuracy and have a broad knowledge of technical workings of database structure andreportingprotocols. Knowledge of stored procedures, T-SQL, functions, or SQL Queries is required. Ability to use complex expressions to calculate, group, filter, parameterize, optimize and format customreportsis required.

·Experience pulling data from Microsoft SQL Server databases forreportsis preferred.

·Must be detail-oriented and organized, with good analytical and problem solving ability.

·Ability to function independently and as a team player in a fast-paced environment required.

Must have strong written and verbal communication skills.
