Genesis10 is seeking a Data Analyst for a leading company in Cleveland, OH. This is a 1-year contract role.

Candidates applying must be able to work on a W2 basis (No C2C please).

Job Summary:

The Data Analyst will work with the Enterprise Data Architecture team to help implement the data strategy, tenets, best practices, and standards for the client's technology team. This resource will provide data mapping details on the attributes required including the vital information on how the data from the source system will be transformed and stored in the target source. They are responsible to provides all the business rules, transformation logic, derived column expressions, etc. This position will also be a liaison between Data Architecture and Data Management, Data Stewardship, lines of business and the ETL group to align business needs with enterprise data management strategy and solutions

Job Duties:

• Actively participate in team design sessions Interpret & influence business requirements
• Map data from our disparate source systems into our integrated layer
• Design consumer-specific views with an eye towards performance
• Guide and mentor consumers on best practices for using data from our integrated layer
• Support internal & external communications via technical documentation
• Enforce standards with regard to process, documentation, and other best practices throughout the project lifecycle

Requirements:

• Ability to think in shades of grey
• Ability to maintain an Enterprise perspective while working on project specific tasks
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment (quick study, etc)
• Comfortable communicating with different verticals within an organization Oral & Written
• Good Problem-Solving skills
• Excellent Data Analysis skills (Interpreting data and Analyzing results)
• Comfortable working with relational & data warehouse ERDs
• 1+ years of SQL Proficient with MS Excel
• Exposure to IBM's Banking Data Warehouse, a plus Agile experience, a plus Financial Industry experience, a plus
