Job Details

Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate and determine test equipment and processes that ensure the quality and performance of all products.
  • Program parameters working closely with Controls engineering with specifications.
  • Work with Engineering to detail the proper process specifications requirements and to make sure Manufacturing can comply, as well as develop the testing method standardization.
  • Apply continuous improvement methods such as lean manufacturing to enhance manufacturing quality, reliability, or cost-effectiveness.
  • Apply statistical methods to estimate future manufacturing requirements, process improvements and potential capacity.
  • Develop, document, and implement manufacturing methods needed to produce new products.
  • Review engineering changes to take appropriate measures to ensure all product documentation for affected operations.
  • Facilitate and oversee development of OEE and capacity requirements, planning dashboards by uploading various data from automated systems.

You must know some of the following:
  • Strong test equipment development experience and experience with PLC's logic, programing and common plant communications protocols
  • Ability to understand and build test for final assembly units on the auto run test equipment
  • Ability to work as a member of a team dedicated to continual improvement of Quality, Safety, and Productivity
  • Knowledge of Industrial engineering and lean manufacturing principles
  • Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles involved in production of technical plans, blue prints, drawings, and models
  • MS office software
