Requirements
3-5 years of comparable experience
Associates or bachelor's degree, preferably in Accounting or Finance
Excellent communication skills (written and oral)
Excellent Computer skills including QuickBooks, MS Office, Word, Excel, & Adobe
Attention to detail, analytical mind, problem-solving skills & internally motivated.
Highly organized
Ability to perform accurately in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work effectively independently and as part of a team
Ability to work on tight deadlines
Ability to multi-task and not lose focus
Construction billing experience a must - AIA documents, contract & billing
Responsibilities
⢠Perform general bookkeeping duties, with Strong QuickBooks Skills
⢠Invoicing (AIA billing), reconciliations, accruals, month end closing, issue checks
⢠Experience with general contractor monthly pay application process.
⢠Manage sub contractor's weekly pay apps and Conditional/Unconditional release
⢠Ensure that accounts payable are paid in a timely manner
⢠Obtain necessary tax forms from new vendors.
⢠Management of Corporate Filings, Licensing, etc.
⢠Manage subcontractors' contracts, invoices, lien releases, insurance, etc.
⢠Manage Sub-Contractor Compliance record and certified payrolls.
⢠Ability to work with numerous contractors and sub-contractors in an efficient manner
⢠Perform special projects and additional assignments as directed that support the General Accounting function.
⢠Review of various accounting reports to ensure the accuracy and clarity of information presented.
⢠Correspond with clients and respond to inquires
⢠Provide administrative support to management when require
