What we are looking for -

The Associate will be primarily responsible for processing all incoming and outgoing transactions in both the portfolio accounting system and at the custodians. This person will conduct all (electronic) position and cost basis reconciliation work in the portfolio database, processing all daily work required to balance all accounts quarterly bills for clients, helping produce quarterly performance reports and supporting the Investment Operations department with various projects and tasks. The position requires a polished professional who is equally comfortable and adept at working within strict deadlines and with multiple transaction types. Must be able to communicate effectively with outside custodian contacts and in house personnel to solve complex problems in a timely manner.

You will -

⦁ Work daily with various custodians and interface providers to retrieve and process electronic downloads

⦁ Work with multiple points of contact to facilitate financial transactions in client accounts

⦁ Link and maintain client accounts in the firm wealth planning system

⦁ Validate cost basis in the wealth planning system

⦁ Work with a small number of client’s portfolios to become proficient with manual reconciliation and performance reporting

⦁ Assist operations Specialists in processing and preparing account establishment documents, transfer forms and other necessary documents for new and existing accounts

⦁ Deliver quarterly performance reports and process quarterly investment management and wealth planning bills for clients

⦁ Other duties as needed and assigned

We want -

⦁ Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in business, accounting, finance, economics or related field

⦁ Previous experience working in financial services and/or an investment management firm is highly desired

⦁ High level of proficiency in Word and Excel. Knowledge of Portfolio Center, Salesforce, Advisor View and other applications helpful
