Our innovative and data driven client is searching for an experienced PySpark Data Engineer to build enterprise data analytic solutions and software in the Cincinnati (OH) area. Financial Services experience is highly desired.

The PySpark Data Engineer will work on a collaborative Data Analytics team that is responsible for modernizing a financial analytics platform sitting on a Hadoop (Spark + Python / PySpark) ecosystem. You will leverage your Hadoop ecosystem knowledge to design, and develop capabilities to deliver our solutions using Spark, DataFrames, Python, Hive, Oozie, Kafka, NiFi, Snowflake and other things in the Hadoop ecosystem.

Requirements for the PySpark Data Engineer:

• Hands on experience with PySpark / Python / DataFrames - MLIB exp preferred
• Expertise in Cloud Transformation and Data streaming
• A focus on Spark Batch Processing and complementary tech like Spark SQL, RDD, PySpark
• Strong ETL / SQL Background
• Experience working in Tech Environments using Spark, Python, Kafka, NiFi, Snowflake, etc.
• Familiarity with data management concepts data modeling, effectively organizing large data volumes; both structured and unstructured, data quality, data security, etc
• Experience in working in Agile.
