The Lackman is a one of-a-kind bar experience by Four Entertainment Group (4EG). Located at 1237 Vine St., the bar is on the first floor of the Lackman building, built by turn-of-the-century Cincinnati brewery Herman Lackman. The bar's signage reflects the label Herman Lackman used on his beer bottles.
4 Entertainment Group (4EG) is privately held and is based in Cincinnati, Ohio. 4EG includes a wide-ranging roster of exceptional establishments in Cincinnati including Hightail, Igby's, The Lackman, Low Spark, Mt. Adams Pavilion, Righteous Room, Roosevelt Room, Rosedale, The Sandbar, The St. Clair, The Stretch, Keystone Bar & Grill (Clifton, Covington, and Hyde Park), and Mac Shack (Clifton and Green Township). Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Ability to clearly communicate with teammates, management, and guests
Able to learn and be expected to change a blown keg
Identify items from a comprehensive list of all beer, wine, liquors, and specialty cocktails
Expected to complete opening and closing checklists in a timely manner
Replenish and stock ice, alcohol, juices, glassware, and whatever else the bartender needs to be setup for success
Clean and maintain all draft towers
Responsible for taking out trash, breaking down cardboard boxes, cleaning of floor mats
Assist bartenders in keeping a clean bar, such as wiping down the bar top, thoroughly sweeping and mopping behind the bar, and replacing dirty bar towels
Polish and clean glassware
Bus tables throughout shift
Other duties as requested, directed or assigned
Physical Demands
Physical exertion, including standing for long periods of time, bending, climbing, lifting, and moving up to 50 lbs
Must be quick on the feet
Ability to read, count, and write to accurately complete all documentation
Ability to freely access all areas of the bar, including behind the bar and storage areas
Ability to climb stairs and ladders
Ability to work varied hours/days as business dictates
Must be willing to work nights, weekends, and certain holidays
