Looking for an experienced attorney for ongoing remote transactional work.
I have a practice that handles the negotiation of high-volume contracts (primarily non-disclosure agreements) for private equity firms, and am looking for an experienced transactional attorney to assist.
The Work:
Reviewing, editing and negotiating-disclosure agreements
Interacting with clients and counterparties as necessary to finalize NDAs
Handling document management and doc summaries for NDAs
All documents must be edited within 24 hours of receiving them (and 18 hours the first few weeks, as I will review your documents before they go out until you are fully familiar with the work)
All work will be done remotely
Work Volume/Commitment:
Starting out around 10-20 hours per week, but ideally 40 hours per week or able to work up to that
Must be interested in long-term work (at least 2-3 years)
Experience/Skills:
Licensed attorney
Experience redlining contracts and interacting with clients (at least 5 years)
High attention to detail, self-starter, reliable, strong follow-through with commitments
Starting: As soon as possible
Pay:
$60 per NDA to start (you will only handle the first round redline at first)
$100 per NDA (once you are negotiating the entire NDA from start to finish)
This rate is for the initial client. Other work is also available; if so, I will advise on those rates upon engaging you for those clients.
Average attorney can review around 4 NDAs per day once fully trained. (This volume would not be available initially but we can work up to that over a few months.)
If interested: Email:
(i) your resume
(ii) a brief email explaining (a) your interest in the work, (b) how many hours per week you are available, (c) whether you are able to turn documents within 24 hours (and within 18 hours at first), and (d) confirming that you are seeking long-term work.
Thank you!
