Responsibilities under a CEO:

Manage executive communications and schedule.

Responsible for data entry and overall organization.

Produces information by transcribing, formatting, inputting, editing, retrieving, copying,

and transmitting text, data, and graphics.

Conserves executive's time by reading, researching, and routing correspondence;

drafting letters and documents; collecting and analyzing information; initiating

telecommunications.

Maintains executive's appointment schedule by planning and scheduling meetings,

conferences, teleconferences, and travel.

Represents the executive by attending meetings in the executive's absence.

Answers client inquiries in a respectful and timely manner.

Maintains customer confidence and protects operations by keeping information

confidential.

Plans, coordinates and ensures the CEO's schedule is followed and respected. Provides

"gatekeeper" and "gateway" role, creating win-win situations for direct access to the

CEO's time and office.

Prioritizes incoming needs; handles matters expeditiously, proactively, and followsthrough

on projects to successful completion, often with deadline pressures.

Researches, tracks, and follows up on conflicting issues and concerns addressed to the

supervisor, including those of a sensitive or confidential nature. Determines

appropriate course of action- referral, or response.

Works closely and effectively with the CEO to keep him well informed of upcoming

commitments and responsibilities, following up appropriately.

Acts as a "barometer," having a sense for the issues taking place in the environment and

keeping the CEO updated.

Provides historical reference by developing and utilizing filing and retrieval systems;

recording meeting discussions.

Maintains office supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level;

anticipating needed supplies; evaluating new office products; placing and expediting

orders for supplies; verifying receipt of supplies.

Ensures operation of equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements;

following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for

repairs; maintaining equipment inventories; evaluating new equipment and

techniques.

Required Skills and Education

Strong attention to detail

Comprehensive knowledge of computers and Microsoft Office, including powerpoint,

excel and publisher

Familiarity with social media platforms and best practices

Possesses organizational skills that reflect ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks

seamlessly with excellent attention to detail

Utilize proficient written and verbal communication skills

Uses a proactive approach to problem-solving with strong decision-making capability

Conducts him or herself in a professional yet personable manner and uses interpersonal

skills to build relationships with clients, external partners and company staff

Highly resourceful team-player, with the ability to also be extremely effective

independently

Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion, be adaptable to

various competing demands, and demonstrate the highest level of customer/client

service and response

Demonstrates ability to achieve high performance goals and meet deadlines in a fast

paced environment

Forward thinker who actively seeks opportunities and proposes solutions

Willing to learn new skills, programs, and technologies

Candidate will work on site in our Cincinnati office with occasional travel
