360 Industrial Services is seeking experienced Safety Associate for a long term project in Sidney, OH.
Must be able to pass background check and drug screen.
Pay- UP to $30 per hour
Duration- 6 months to a year
Qualifications.
1. OSHA Construction 30 Hour Certification.
a. A plus would be an authorized 10 hour trainer.
2. Able to speak up and stop workers before unsafe acts are performed.
3. Understanding of Steel Erection/Fall Protection and the patience and persistence to calmly deal with Iron workers.
a. Successful Candidate must understand that this craft of worker is unique. (Bullheaded)
4. Customer expects site safety person to be in the field 90% of each day. Scheduling of running for company or personal errands must be kept to a minimum.
a. There will be a fair amount of paperwork, this project is a small footprint, suitable arrangements will be made to allow Paperwork “Storage and security” at or near the worksite to comply with observation requirements.
5. Knowledge of Crane Rigging and procedures. This does not require certification; it is a commonsense view that things are Black and white - safe or unsafe.
6. Scaffold Competent Person
7. Fall protection Competent.
8. Ability to see and correct issues immediately.
9. Attend Cargill Safety Meetings and Possibly become part of their Safety Committee.
10. First Aid/CPR trained
11. Knowledge of Confined Space Permitting
a. Knowledge and ability to keep 4 gas monitors Calibrated.
12. Verify Crane, Aerial Lift, Forklift inspections are done Daily.
13. Coach JHA procedures
14. Lead Weekly Safety Meetings with provided Topics.
