About Our Custom & Product Development Group

The Custom & Product Development (CPD) group takes a solutions-oriented approach to helping our clients. We focus on understanding the business problem to solve, manage the engagement, but work as a partner. We assemble teams accountable for the solutions, applying the right tools and technology for the project. The 150+ (and growing) members of the CPD team are smart and creative and have various levels of experience, all rooted in a development background.

Client solutions often involve front end web and mobile components, service layers, and backend data storage and analysis, integration with customer and third-party systems, and modern DevOps practices. We also pride ourselves on being able to figure out and adopt client-specific and emerging technologies that will help with a solution.

Lead Full Stack Developer in our

CPD national business unit.

The Senior Full Stack Developer role would work most commonly with the following technologies: React, C#, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, ES6 + javascript, Web API, MVC Architecture, Responsive Design, User Experience Design, and Asynchronous Web Pages .

Responsibilities

• Lead technical planning for phases and small projects, including requirements gathering activities, solution design, agile estimation.
• Ensure the technical software development process is followed by a team of 3-5 developers, taking accountability for task management, client communication and team quality.
• Code, test, troubleshoot, and document as needed as part of engineering software applications.
• Mentor and guide junior developers to help them grow their technical and consulting capabilities
• Review code and provide feedback to developers based on client, Perficient and industry standards.
• Help design applications/services using our core set of technologies.
• Demonstrate the ability to adapt and work with team members of various experience level.
• Ability to quickly learn and implement new technologies and software patterns.

Qualifications

We seek multi-talented engineers with diverse technology, design and business backgrounds, as well as a great propensity for creative problem solving.

• At least 5 years of web experience developing in a team environment
• At least 2 years of leading software development projects, preferably in software consulting
• Experience with collaborating across multiple functional/technical teams to deliver a project
• Understanding of Agile methodologies
• Self-sufficient, high integrity & more than just competent
• Intellectually curious and value the diverse background and skills that each of your colleagues possess
• A desire to keep learning, growing & teaching
• A disciplined approach to software development
• Passion for technology & technical aptitude
• Insightful & always looking for breakthrough ideas
• Computer Science Degree optional (with applicable experience)
