We are looking for a CPA with recent public accounting experience. A CPA who has worked with family owned businesses. The applicant must be accomplished at analyzing accounts; preparing proposing adjusting entries; preparing compiled and reviewed financial statements; and company business returns. In addition, have the ability to prepare the business owner's personal tax returns.
A CPA who is familiar with (a working knowledge is not required but is a plus) other tax compliance forms, such as:
Payroll tax Sales and Use tax Must have the ability to work independently and possess good technical skills with the ability to research both GAAP and tax topics. Must have good listening skills and follow directions to the letter. Possess strong written and verbal communication skills that are effective, concise and appropriate.
Requirements:
We are looking for a motivated accounting professional with a minimum of 3 years recent Public Accounting Firm experience. The applicant must have their CPA license and recent experience with all aspects of a client's accounting and tax needs.
Skills:
Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and QuickBooks is required. ATX experience is a plus.
Education:
Minimum BBA in Accounting.
