A California company founded by a Buffalo born native with an office/manufacturing facility in beautiful Sebastian Florida is looking for a leader. We’re looking for a Sales Manager to join our team in our Sebastian, Florida location. This position is responsible for developing and delivering an annual sales plan; annual sales objectives and strategies in alignment with overall market and corporate direction; developing recommendations regarding opportunities to maximize sales through sound market research and data that match our core competencies and providing oversight and management of sales force to ensure current customer and profit base is retained and grown.
We’re looking for a person that takes the position of being a sales manager seriously, and recognizes that leading by example is key. Examples of that are: if the sales manager is compensated at 2-3 times what a customer service representative is, has appointments of a personal nature, he OF COURSE knows that’s a day to come in more than an hour early, since he will be leaving early. Are you that kind of person?
The minimum qualifications for this position include a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Engineering, Business Administration or related degree, with a minimum of 3 – 8 years of direct sales experience and/or sales team management experience (having direct reports). Candidates should have a minimum of 5 years direct sales experience, with a few years of major account experience dealing with customers in great detail, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
