Given all the uncertainty right now, I'm pulling my kids from school and home schooling them for the year. Both have been in Montessori school: experience with those modalities would be ideal (but not necessary). Some experience teaching young children is required.
I am looking for someone who can spend half, most, or all of each weekday on school work/lessons, and take the kids for outdoor afternoon adventures some of the days. I work from home for the time being, and we live with my parents, so I am looking for someone who can manage the children even though we'll all be in the house.
Being able to share your interests (art, music, outdoors, biology, animals, foreign language, etc.) is a plus!
Please come from a home that takes COVID quarantine seriously, as we do.
This position would be for at least this school year, possibly continuing into next year, for about 35 hours/week, with some variationbut generally from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. No cleaning would be expected of you, but occasionally you might have to throw together a lunch for the kids (and yourself).
