Cramer Engineering, LLC, is seeking a Structural EIT to work full time. In this role, you will gain valuable knowledge into the operation of a structural engineering consulting firm while performing engineering tasks as well as other office support. Starting pay is $24-$28/hr with yearly bonuses. Overtime is available. Working remotely is acceptable with close daily communications.
Job Activities:
Provide structural engineering support on a variety of projects while managing projects and fulfilling the needs of clients
Assisting with drafting and design of structural projects using AutoCAD and Revit
Engineering design work and performing structural calculations using Excel and structural software for pole barns, residences, metal buildings, commercial buildings, mezzanines, retaining walls, steel structures, zip line towers, bridges, etc.
Assisting with structural inspections including residential and commercial inspections, taking detailed notes, and writing structural reports.
Shop drawings and plan review.
Office related support including preparing construction documents, plotting and printing structural drawing sets, etc.
Specific Requirements include:
Holds a bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural engineering with 0-4 years of experience
Valid driver’s license
Must live in or near the Greater Akron/Cleveland area (or willing to relocate, can help pay for relocation)
Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
Knowledge of AutoCAD is necessary
Knowledge of Revit and structural engineering software, preferred
Organized and professional
Ability to communicate professionally with clients and co-workers
Professional appearance and conduct
