Well established automotive machining facility in Marietta, Ga is seeking qualified candidates in Quality Management. Located at the base of Kennesaw Mountain, Torco, Inc. was founded in 1954. Family owned and operated, Torco. Inc. is a leader in the multi-spindle screw machined components in the automotive sector. Maintaining three certifications, ISO 9001:2015, AS9100D and IATF 16949:2016 pride is taken in safety, quality and customer service.

The open role would be responsible to develop long term improvement initiatives at achieving the organization's quality objectives as well as direct and coordinate the company's quality management system. The position shall develop strategies and proactively address areas of weakness with the quality system to drive improvement. Relocation assistance to be discussed for the ideal candidate.

Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

• Serve as key contact to customer base for quality issues providing customer service and technical support as deemed appropriate for issues presented.

• Key contributor in generating year after year reduced operating expenses, improved productivity and cost reductions.

• Ensure compliance of all three certifications noted above.

• Primary lead to meet goals of QM key measurables.

• Monitor and address all customer concerns, complaints, rejects and give early warning to relevant departments as to highlighted problems.

• Train and audit production personnel in the use of statistical techniques.

• Provide for the development and training of the plant Quality staffing to ensure competency with the current techniques, developments and requirements.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 8 years in the Quality Manufacturing environment, with 3 years minimum as a Quality Engineer of Manager type role.

• Must possess experience in a process driven, mid to high volume manufacturing organization.

• Automotive experience highly preferred.

• Statistical background and computer knowledge is required.
