The Analyst will primarily support the Interest Rate Marketers for all business segments, but will also have exposure to Commodities and general industry related projects.Essential Job FunctionsDaily responsibilities will include, but is not limited to:
Pitch book preparation
Market research
Quantitative analysis
Client interaction (incl. marketer back-up)
Attending sales calls, where appropriate
Fulfilling pre-trade documentation requirements
Prepare periodic market / quote updates
Analyze client debt structures and hedge positions
Individual will work in conjunction with Senior Marketers and Management to:
Establish strong internal, customer-focused partnerships with banking teams
Draw on the full resources of the company to provide high quality solutions and service to customers
Assemble a diverse team to identify ways that our product, sales and service organizations work together to deliver value
Gain insight on successes and challenges through client and partner feedback
Ensure the integrity of the client databaseDevelop internal and external sales presentation skillsAssist in projects, writing reports, pitch books and special assignments, as appropriateSearches actively for efficiencies in the way our organization services customers
Demonstrates an understanding about our process; incorporating changes when necessary
Serve as a leader for client quality and service; act decisively to reach solutions, and follow up to assure resolutionRequired Qualifications
Bachelors of Arts/Bachelors of Science
1-2 years of work experience
Competencies
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Advanced knowledge of Excel, Powerpoint and Word
Ability to work under pressure and to strict deadlines
Attention to detail with the ability to multi-task
Ability to work within a team based environment.
Strong quantitative/analytical background
Bloomberg Terminal experience preferable
