The Enterprise Architect is a role within the Enterprise Architecture practice focused on supporting digital business initiatives for company.
This role is responsible capturing the organization’s future-state digital capabilities, which drive the organization’s targeted digital business platform and ecosystem.

The Enterprise Architect is a thought leader, responsible for defining the overall digital platform to support business digital priorities and overall digital strategy.

The Enterprise Architect is responsible for facilitating the construction of digital business models, which may include digital capabilities, functions and processes, technology stack and organization design, working collaboratively with BRM role, Solutions Architects, functional IT leadership, business process owners and subject matter experts.

Essential Functions


Strategy & Planning

• Develops an integrated view of company digital capabilities and processes using a repeatable approach, cohesive framework, and available industry standard techniques.
• Lead synchronization of digital capabilities and technology stacks cross SW business units to support the digital business strategy and optimize our enterprise technology portfolio.
• Provides consulting and make technology recommendations to tackle digital transformation and help identify process improvements or enable new digital capabilities.
• Work with Digital IT and Business leaders to understand digital business priorities, in order to define the digital platform and ecosystem to support the digital business strategy.
• Responsible for synchronization of architecture decisions supporting roadmaps and investment in improved or new digital capabilities, helping determine what digital capabilities the enterprise must develop to satisfy its digital priorities to stand apart from competition, optimize partnerships, and improve operations.
• Responsible for synchronization of digital solutions with security and compliance requirements.
• Facilitate the process of defining and publish digital standards, best practices and digital roadmap, synchronized with the overall enterprise future state architecture.
• Responsible for the synchronization with established EA processes and architecture governance board.
• Provide high-level designs across the Digital and Marketing Technology domain, including: Web and Mobile applications, eCommerce, Application Programming Interface (API), Content Management Systems (CMS), Customer Relationship Management (CRM), Digital Asset Management (DAM), Marketing Campaign Management and Analytics.
• Lead transformation initiatives such as DevOps, Intelligent automation, Micro services architecture, AR/VR etc.

Acquisition & Deployment
• Work with other enterprise architects and key organizational stakeholders to define a strategic plan for leveraging integrated business architecture as part of the enterprise.
• Define a clear plan and governance for ensuring the digital architecture work is in lock step with the other EA viewpoints.
• Provide strategic consultation to assigned line-of-business (LOB) customers in defining or designing digital capabilities, processes, functions, and organizational structures, as well as in researching, identifying and internally marketing, selling, and enabling technology based on business digital priorities and focus areas.
• Leverage architecture tools and techniques, including: strategy on a page, strategic planning, business model canvas, disruptions trends, balance scorecard, economic modeling, risk and interdependencies, process models, business capability modeling, ecosystem modeling, customer and user profiling, journey maps, and human-centric design.

Operational Management
• Collaborate with Digital leaders, BRM, PMO and Strategic Operation functions on reporting project status, issues, risks and benefits.
• Facilitate development of cross-LOB (enterprise) digital solutions that address particular business processes, known issues, and general technological options.
• Provide regular, clear, and consistent communication (written and oral) on the status of projects, issues, and deliverables to representatives from the customer/vendor.
• Assess near-term needs, using structured interview processes, to establish digital business priorities. Consult with technical subject matter experts and develop alternative technical solutions. Advise on options, risks, costs versus benefits, and impact on other business processes and system priorities.
• Leads and mentors other cross functional team members in the development of architecture and analyst deliverables, understanding industry best practices/standards.

Incidental Functions
• Assist with other projects as may be required to contribute to the efficiency and effectiveness of the group and other business/technical entities.
• Proven ability and initiative to learn and research new concepts, ideas, and technologies quickly.
• Facilitate meetings and follow up with resulting action items.
• Maintain current knowledge of the technology workspace in terms of current state, future possibilities, forthcoming technologies, and their relevance and impact.
• Conduct research into new applications, tools, components, and frameworks.
• Make presentations to management, clients, and peer groups as requested.
• Train and share knowledge.
• Participate in hiring activities and fulfilling affirmative action obligations and ensuring compliance with the equal employment opportunity policy.
• Up to 10% travel as required (domestic and international).
• Work hours outside the standard office 7.5 hour work day may be required.

Position Requirements


Formal Education & Certification

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in related field or equivalent experience.
• Master’s degree a plus.
• Certified Business Architect, Open Business Architecture, TOGAF or similar certifications preferred.

Knowledge & Experience
• 14+ years IT or Business experience.
• 8+ years of hands-on experience developing documentation, white papers and presentations to all levels of management and technical staff.
• Knowledge and understanding of different types of business and operating models (existing, new, emerging and hybrid).
• In-depth experience with digital business transformation and process redesign methods.
• Knowledge of existing, new and emerging technologies and being able to practically them to new business designs and business models.
• Comprehensive knowledge of facilitation and organization change management.
• Strong analytical and conceptual skills; ability to create original concepts and theories for a variety of projects.
• Experienced leading multidiscipline, high-performance work teams.
• Exhibited skills in leading program management efforts involving coordination of resources and goals across multiple related projects.
• Knowledge in all aspects of designing and constructing business processes, functions and organization structures.
• Experience developing and monitoring delivery of efficient solutions to diverse and complex business problems.
• Experience with utilizing one or more Architecture Frameworks (TOGAF, SAFe, APQC etc).
• Experience in evaluation, analysis and planning of large-scale strategic IT programs/projects, such as ERP, e-Commerce, CRM, Content Management Systems and Marketing Technologies.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills
• Knowledge of finance, accounting, valuation metrics development.
