Position Requirements :
This position will be responsible for assisting the Global Supply Chain Division Accounting department with its product costing functions.
The individual will have an opportunity to learn about the various cost components that make up the finished goods Sherwin-Williams takes to market.
Specific areas of focus will include raw material and conversion costs for the company's Americas Group (TAG) and Diversified Brands Division businesses.
Essential duties include :
Complete product cost quotes for Sales & Marketing to seek new business
Develop costs for new products going to market on a daily basis
Adhere to specified timelines for cost development
Assist group with the annual standard cost development process
Maintain costing procedure documentation
Streamline costing processes where applicable
Assist with ad hoc projects
Monitor and process cost hold items.
Position Requirements :
Required :
High School Diploma or GED
Pursing a Bachelor's or Master’s degree from an accredited institution - Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration with a focus in Finance or Accounting
Required :
Organized and meets deadlines
Problem solving mentality
Good interpersonal skills
Preferred :
Experience with Standard Cost development.
1-2 years of accounting experience
Required :
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Access
Available to work approximately 28 hours per week
Preferred :
Standard Cost methodology
