Introduction:

Randstad Engineering Solutions is looking for Business Analysts to support the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry. As a key member of Randstad's Engineering team, you will be focused on the documenting, analyzing, advising, and education of Manufacturing Execution System (MES) solutions for end customers. You will also be a vital link in our Smart Manufacturing practice, translating user requirements and customer business needs into fully-traceable and scalable MES solutions.


Randstad will leverage your extensive industry knowledge and deep experience developing, testing, and implementing MES solutions to provide crucial support to our customers and their project needs, which are often global or continental in scope.


Your in-depth knowledge and experience working within the pharmaceutical, food & beverage, and consumer packaged goods industry verticals, including the unique challenges and regulatory requirements therein, along with your ability to guide and mentor MES professionals will bolster our ever-growing Engineering team.

This role is responsible for the functional design and scope of software components to create

reliable software solutions that meet the requirements of our customers. The software components will

be developed on top of our MES/MOM software products - mainly Factory Talk Production Center,

PharmaSuite and other industry 4.0 relevant software components.


Primary Job Responsibilities:


Assist in the development of business cases for MES/MOM deployments.

Assist in the development of internal MES practice processes and SOPs.

Creating documentation, including project engineering notes, project proposals, project design traceability documentation, case studies, and more.

Creating methodologies and performing complex problem-solving

Deploying innovative MES solutions for our world-class customer base; finding, sharing, and capitalizing on opportunities for improvement.

Consult and lead client in MES best practices for their application .

Ongoing Continuous Improvements Consultation to business stakeholders and advisors.

Link manufacturing plant level project teams to global level standards for MES Design/Build/Validate/Go Live.

User Requirements Management Activities, MES Solutions Testing Activities, Support MES implementations.

Assist site acceptance test

Create training documentation

Train clients on the MES solution in the area of technology and application usage, business process, as well as application support

Learning new best practices, industry standards, technologies

Work with process/product owners to establish process flow standards in MES

Identify out of the box functions to leverage

Oversee build out of process/product offering to be leveraged across multiple manufacturing plants and lines

Oversee build out of process/product offering to be leveraged by industry verticals of Food and Bev, Consumer Goods, and Life Sciences

Assist in the formation of MES project teams and move projects through lifecycle.

Mentoring colleagues on your expertise and knowledge base

Communication Skills:

Leadership Skills:

Ability to work with virtual teams in India to support translation of customer requirements into real solutions

Ability to lead small teams / projects. Project Management experience and understanding of best practices.


Required Skills:

2+ years in Pharmaceutical Manufacturing related experience

Background with Software and Databases

5+ years experience requirements development of business cases for manufacturing processes and MES systems

Abity to travel 35%


These would be a plus:

Basic understanding in object-oriented programming in Java, C, C#, JAVA development, JAVA Framework, J2EE App Server / JBoss, HTML5.

Experience with VMWare environments, networking, operating systems, and the design and configuration of a relevant MES system or technology (Rockwell FactoryTalk, PharmaSuite, or other recognized MES system)

Experience with other common manufacturing operations systems (LIMS, ERP, PLM, CAPA)
