Two Bucks, a bar and restaurant, is looking for an experienced line cook to join our team. Two Bucks provides all team members a friendly, cooperative and rewarding environment encouraging long-term, satisfying employment in a growing franchise.
Candidates must be able to multi-task under pressure, have excellent communication skills and a proven track record in a high volume bar/restaurant.
The responsibilities of a Cook will include:
⢠Setting up the station according to restaurant guidelines.
⢠Preparing all food items as directed in a sanitary and timely manner.
⢠Following recipes, portion controls, and presentation specifications as set by the restaurant.
⢠Restocking all items as needed throughout the shift.
⢠Cleaning and maintaining the station by practicing good safety, sanitation, and organizational skills.
⢠Understanding how to properly use and maintain all equipment in the station.
⢠Assisting with the cleaning, sanitation, and organization of the kitchen, walk-in coolers, and all storage areas.
⢠Performing additional responsibilities, although not detailed, as requested by the Kitchen Manager.
⢠Receiving, storing, and rotating all food/paper stock.
Working Conditions:
⢠This position will spend 100% of the time standing.
⢠Occasional environmental exposures to cold, heat, and water.
⢠The individual must be able to transport up to 50 pounds on occasion and up to 35 pounds regularly.
⢠Must be able speak, read and understand basic cooking directions.
