Prominent well established national company is seeking Restaurant General Managers with casual dining experience in Cleveland, OH and the surrounding area.
Plan, organize, direct, and coordinate the workers and resources of the restaurant in an efficient, well-prepared manner enhancing the profitability of the facility thru well planned monitoring, preparation and service of food and beverages.
Tasks and Duties
Direct hiring, training, and scheduling of food service personnel. Resolve complaints concerning food quality and service.¨ Enforce sanitary practices for food handling, general cleanliness, and maintenance of kitchen and dining areas.¨ Comply with all health and safety regulations. Review and monitor, with bookkeeper or other financial personnel, expenditures.¨ Work to improve performance. ¨¨
A minimum of 4 years plus restaurant FOH & BOH restaurant management experience, at GM level "preferably with a large chain that operates multiple locations"
Stable track record without frequent job changes ¨
Good organizational skills for dealing with diverse duties and staff. ¨
Pleasant, polite manner for dealing with public as well as staff.¨
Hands on management expertise¨.
Ability to work with minimal supervision¨.
Desire to grow and advance¨¨.
Position is full time with a first years income ranging from $50,000 to $58,000, second year potential, $60,000 plus.
