Our family is committed to keeping our 95-year old father living in his home. We are looking for a caregiver to cover the two weeks of July 10-24 while his full-time caregiver is on vacation. While the current need is temporary, there is the opportunity to continue providing care and become part of his team of caregivers.
Ideally you would work a split shift in the day: 8:00am - 12:00pm and 3:00pm - 7:00pm, in order to cover mealtimes and bedtime.
A little background on our father - he is a World War II Vet, does crossword puzzles every day and enjoys watching crime shows. He has full mental capability. His home is on the far NE side of Cleveland (Collinwood.)
Ideal candidate will be a nursing student looking to gain practical experience in a person's home; a retired nurse or experienced caregiver. Must be reliable and committed to providing nurturing care.
Caregiver will provide personal care, assistance with daily activities, meal preparation, light housekeeping, occasional shopping and companionship. The wage is $15 per hour. Direct pay.
