What are we looking for?
We are looking for a heartwarming and caring Direct Support Professional to be responsible for providing and maintaining a safe and supportive environment.
Day in the life:
Provides appropriate emotional, medical, physical, vocational, social, and educational support
Recommend additional services and goals based on individuals interests
Assist, monitor, and teach individuals in daily living skills including:
Hygiene, Meal preparation, Light household tasks
Developing routines, Budgeting, Communication, Medication management
Social skills, Community Integration, Peer Interaction, Emergency Skills
Menu Planning, Grocery Shopping, Public Transportation and travel, Vocational Skills
Accountable for the accurate and timely submission of financial data
Attend required training to maintain all required certifications for continued employment (First Aid, CPR)
Follow written program plans and to observe factual information
Work will include evenings, weekends, and holidays

What do we require?
Ability to lift 50 lbs
At least 21 yrs. of age
High School Diploma or GED
Valid Ohio Drivers License
