Senior Center in Old Brooklyn neighborhood seeking outreach worker @25 hours per week to make contact with senior citizens to determine eligibility for various programs, including home delivered meals, designed to keep them independent. This position requires the candidate to be bi-lingual (Spanish-English).
Must be personable, have ability to track information carefully, communicate with other staff effectively, possess strong computer skills. Background in social services a plus. Must be a licensed, insured driver and have a car available. Home visits may be required.
