Currently have an opening for a top-notch Commercial Retail Construction Superintendent.
Work starts July 20th and is estimated to last 17 weeks.
Details
- Ground-up construction of a commercial building
- Working 8 to 10 hour shifts, 5 days a week.
- Applicants must be able to commute to Bedford, OH. No Per Diem/Travel
- Steel frame construction
- Pay: $1,200 a week
Duties
- Lead in the management, coordination, and inspection of contractor work while project is in progress
- Manage supplies, materials, logistics, and staying within budget
- Oversight of day to day duties, scheduling, coordination, and performance of subcontractors
- Maintain daily and weekly project team meetings, and onsite meetings to resolve issues
- Supervise the completion of Punch List/Warranty items
- Compile and deliver daily project reports and procurement logs to the Director of Operations
Required Qualifications
- 6+ years’ commercial construction superintendent experience
- 6+ years’ experience in “ground-up” construction in a fast-paced environment
- Able to demonstrate motivation and problem solving
- History of completing projects on time and within budget
- Working knowledge of all crafts with an ability to read and understand specifications and plans for all trades
- OSHA 10
- Excellent computer skills, including proficient in Microsoft Office
- Professional appearance
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience managing commercial projects in $1M - $5M range
- Experience using Procore software or Raken software
- Carpentry background
- Bachelor or Associate degree
- OSHA 30
