Halo Metal Prep - Maintenance Position
Full time position open for a full-time Maintenance/Millwright, Manufacturing Technician. Will consider Part-Time Candidates as well.
Job Scope:
1. Understand basic mechanical/electrical troubleshooting and how to repair machine, hydraulics, pneumatics, motors, variable speed drives, belt, and conveyor systems. Ability to determine what machine parts are failing and what is required to repair the machine issues.
2. Machine Installation and Assembly
3. Dismantle, upgrade, and move machines
4. Perform Preventive Maintenance on facility equipment, assist with stocking spare parts.
5. Advise company management of equipment safety related issues
Position Requirements & Skills:
1. Read and comprehend machine documentation, electrical and mechanical schematics, and drawings.
2. Measurement, conversion, and general calculation concepts
3. Plumbing, pipe, and dust collector ductwork
4. Basic wiring and electrical component replacement
5. Basic Welding, arc, MiG, tig, acetylene brazing experience preferred
6. Work Independently with limited supervision
7. On occasion as required work with and assist other manufacturing employees with other miscellaneous plant activities.
8. Good hand eye coordination and the Physical Ability to occasionally lift up to 75 pounds.
9. Tow motor/Lift Truck experience
A preference will be given to individuals who have previous experience with Shot Blasting, Air compressors and electrical troubleshooting experience.
Working Hours are 8 AM – 4:00 PM, but some flexibility in the schedule is required.
