Details
-Full time, permanent career position
-All work local to the greater Cleveland area
-$18 to $25 depending on experience
-Mon through Friday, 7am – 4pm (Occasional Saturdays)
-Primary work will include new installations, repairs, and service calls for residential gas fireplace units
Requirements
-Knows how to run gas lines, and install gas fireplaces and gas log sets
-Can install caps, dampers, smoke guards etc
-Needs to know how to parge chimney smoke chambers
-Needs to know combustion code
-Chimney sweep experience
-Knows liners sizes/ Type of liners to use/ Connect furnaces and water tank heaters to liners
-Familiar with BTU output on furnaces and water tanks
-Knows all fuel piping
-Has basic masonry work/Tuck Pointing experience
-Valid License and good driving record
Duties
1. Communication to: dispatcher, service manager, parts depart, sales, CSR, installation, and client.
2. Keeping truck inventory current and accounting for all parts used
3. Maintain a clean and professional appearance
4. Treat the client’s home like your own, wear boot covers, put things back the way you found them.
5. Complete your paperwork properly and document all model and serial #s for equipment
6. Get repairs approved BEFORE doing them, with the client
7. Safely diagnose, trouble shoot and maintain gas fireplaces
8. Assist installation department as necessary
9. Educate the clients on their fireplaces on how to best take care of them
