The successful candidate will ensure quality claim handling throughout the claim life cycle (customer contacts, coverage, investigation, evaluation, reserving, negotiating and resolution) and ensure full compliance with internal and external quality standard. Further, the successful candidate will have a proven track record of training and managing a claims team. Your tasks may include, but not be limited to:Mitigates exposure to risk by developing and coordinating all activities related to auto physical damage and liability claims management.
Ensures the proper and efficient handling of claims through timely communication with branch. personnel, third-party claims administrators, and defense counsel.
Documents all activities and comply with claims/case management protocols.
Gathers data and investigates claims.
Review loss analysis and financial value of claims.
Identifies exposure and recommends solutions.
Trains and manages the auto claims team.
Manages third party and insurance carrier claims adjusters.
Retains and manages defense counsel, experts and third-party consultants.
High school diploma or GED required.
Ten (10) years auto claim experience.
Five (5) years team management experience.
Ability to interact effectively with all levels of management.
Demonstrated ownership attitude and customer centric response to assigned tasks.
Ability to travel, occasionally overnight.
Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
Strong technical claim skills
