Description
Robert Half Technology is hiring an experienced Database Developer, so if you have a strong relational database background and want to work with a company in the Retail - Food Store field, you may be interested. In this role, you will be working to design, build and develop database architecture. If you possess a strong knowledge of query writing and enjoy developing systems, we cannot wait to hear from you about this Database Developer opportunity! This Database Developer position will be a full-time opportunity based in the Columbus, Ohio area.
Major responsibilities
- Develop a method for storing database data in the future
- Produce a database schema based on the type of data and application-related function
- Design, code, and carry new relational databases
- Supply documentation as well as training to the Database Administrator and other users, when necessary
Requirements
- Solid understanding of database troubleshooting, and background with industry standards for database operations
- Strong query coding expertise - you can write a query to do almost anything
- Previous experience working as a Database Developer or a related role
- SQL experience required
- MySQL Database experience desired
- Proficiency in Typescript
- Node.js experience highly desired
- Foundational knowledge in JavaScript
