DescriptionHas direct sales management responsibility for Sales Specialists in the Insurance Sales Center (Gateway and Akron). Has authority to directly manage all facets of Sales Specialists activities in conjunction with Insurance Sales and Relationship Manager. Manages producers to properly record required sales activity information in MAX and other systems of record as required.+ + Works with team leads and managers to help sales agents achieve optimal performance.
Ensures that Associates handle calls in accordance with established guidelines and procedures.
Intercedes on incoming telephone calls to resolve customer complaints/issues. Monitors and reviews progress and accuracy of work, directs efforts towards achieving agreed performance metrics and provides technical guidance on complex issues.
Responsible for distributing referral volume.
Provides regular feedback, development, and coaching to associates on performance objectives.
Facilitates and maintains positive work environment. Generates various routine management reports and other reporting as needed. Ensures appropriate communication with team members through one-on-one meetings and conducting team meetings. Ensures company policies are enforced and provides coaching, including corrective action, when necessary.
Assists with the recruitment and selection process for new associates and/or lead roles.
Supports the goals and objectives of the Call Center, Management and the Organization.
Provide weekly (or daily as needed) updates to Sales Center management on any ongoing issues, personnel issues and potential areas of risk with meeting client SLA’s.
