DescriptionAccountemps has partnered up with a growing firm to find an experienced Medical Billing Specialist with strong technical skills and a knack for analysis. This position would be on a short-term temporary-to-full-time basis and located in the Columbus, Ohio area. Submit bills to insurance organizations and patients

Focus on data quality and uniformity via close collaboration with other factions

Focus on specific patient accounts regarding matters of billing and reimbursement

Requirements

Previous experience working with an electronic medical system required

Strong proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft Program skills

Prefer 2+ years experience in medical billing or within the revenue cycle

Outstanding data entry skills

Foundational knowledge in medical claims

Comprehensive knowledge of billing

Medical billing experience preferred

Electronic medical records experience

Sound written and verbal communication skills

High school diploma or equivalent required

Proven knowledge of explanation of benefits (EOBs)
