DescriptionWe are looking to identify candidates that are interested in a temporary to full time for a AR Billing Representative role with a top medical firm in the market.The following is the specific role within the AR Billing team:The AR Billing Representative is responsible for investigating and resolving insurance denials based upon previously submitted claims for durable medical equipment or supplies.The duties include researching and analyzing denial data and coordinating denial recovery. Denial recovery includes facilitating the re-submission and if necessary coordinating written response for any denials approval agencies. This position is highly focused on the identification, analysis and research of the root cause of denials and the development of corrective action plans for resolution of insurance processing errors and denials.Specific duties includes: Prioritize activities to work overturns in a timely manner to alleviate untimely filings Identify and pursue opportunities for improvements in denial performance Research rejections included in EOBs for resolution and file appropriately Categorize denials to assign tasks or personally work to overturn denials HOW TO APPLY Send an updated resume to Rachel Birkmeier at rachel.birkmeier@accountemps.com or call 614-471-5536 for more information.RequirementsExperience/Knowledge Includes: At least 3+ years’ experience as an Account Representative in Medical Supply industry At least 1+ year experience with DME claims denial management Experience with insurance contracts Demonstrated understanding of medical terminology required Knowledge of patient confidentiality and HIPAA regulations Knowledge of CPT, HCPCS, and ICD9/ICD10 coding required Knowledge of medical billing and collection practices Understands Medicare and Medical Assistance regulations as they apply to the job functions Organized; sets priorities; meets deadlines Ability to work independently HOW TO APPLY Send an updated resume to Rachel Birkmeier at rachel.birkmeier@accountemps.com or call 614-471-5536 for more information.Accountemps matches highly skilled professionals with accounting finance jobs at the best companies on a temporary and temporary-to-hire basis.
