Detailed Description: • This role will be responsible for overall engineering and project work for Huntington data networks with focus on data center route/switch, network fabrics, and security. • This includes, but is not limited to, data center route/switch, Cisco ACI, Palo Firewalls, Cisco ACI, Cisco Wireless, and network design principles. • Knowledge of Cisco Unified Communications, voice technologies, and QoS a plus. Basic Qualifications: • 7+ years of hands-on Enterprise network architecture, deployment and configuration. • 5+ years of hand-on experience in network security technologies. • Bachelor's Degree in IT field of study or 10+ years experience. • Financial Services background a plus. • Ability to execute on IT project initiatives with minimal oversight. • Ability to work both as a team and independently to accomplish goals. • Data Center Network SME with strong ability to partnership with Information Security organizations. • Strong communication skills (both verbal and written) with ability to create runbook documentation and operational/implementation turn-over support of new technologies. • Cisco Call Manager, administration of phones/end-points, and voice transport a plus. Preferred Qualifications: • Evaluate, design, implement, operate, and maintain data center core routing and switching elements. Software defined network utilizing products such as Cisco ACI and/or VMWare NSX is a plus. • Strong skill set in OSPF, BGP routing protocols and Cisco Nexus switches. • Expertise in Firewall technologies including traditional and Next-Generation. Palo Alto Networks experience a plus. • Expertise in Proxy/Web Security Gateways. Palo Alto Networks a plus. • Expertise in Remote Access VPNs technologies and associated infrastructure. • Experience in implementation and supporting NAC technologies. Cisco ISE a plus. • Automation/scripting • Strong design skills of data center and DMZ environments across an array of technologies. • In-depth knowledge of Cisco wireless technologies including wireless controllers, production and guest wireless networks, and AP configuration and support. • Perform risk assessments on IT products and services and make appropriate recommendations. • Experience in managing and maintaining standards and baseline configurations of network elements as part of a rigorous configuration management process.
