Long term contract assignment to help support upcoming IT Projects based in Columbus, OH. Travel may be required to support project startup. Expected 40 hours per week, M-F, 8:00 - 5:00 EST.



Primary Tasks:


  • Provide direct leadership of IT start-up projects throughout project delivery lifecycle

  • Responsible to execute 1-2 big projects and a few smaller topics

  • Maintain project plan, cost tracker, action log, etc. in accordance with project management framework

  • Facilitate effective communication across project team

  • Coordinate and plan project resources

  • Aide in preparing project presentations, communications, etc.

  • Maintain required project artifacts in compliance with project management framework


Qualifications:


  • 5 - 7 years' experience in progressive IT project team roles

  • Experience managing cross-functional teams to deliver IT projects required

  • PMP certification preferred

  • Background in utilizing DevOps / Agile methodologies is a plus

  • Experience in supply chain, logistics or transportation

  • Proficient with MS Excel, PowerPoint and MS Project
