Supervisory responsibilities include, but arenot limited to recommending hiring, coaching, skills development, recognitionand rewards, staff productivity and performance management to includedisciplinary actions up to and including terminations.Responsible for alldaily, weekly, and monthly production activities within warehouse operations.Prepares anddistributes various reports needed for normal day to day operations.Responsible forensuring that the schedules are correctly implemented and that jobs areassigned effectively and completed properly.Responsible forscheduling vacations and time off per policy with the least amount ofdisruption to the department to meet customer needs.Fully engagedwith process on floor to actively lead and supervise teammates.Communicatesdaily through operational start up meetings, making sure all work instructions,daily workflow activities and safety practices are being followed.Initiatespositive methods of driving teammate excellence through follow up, providingconsistent and fair feedback on performance. Takes action through coaching andcounseling to correct behaviors.Conductoperations in a manner which promotes safety. Conduct weekly safety meetingsduring start of shift with teammates. Maintain a safe working environmentthrough participation of safety training, JHA reviews, and weekly walk through.Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work environment which adheres to corporate5’s standards.Supervise theoperations of the team to achieve prescribed objectives. Develop and maintain aproductive work team through cross training, sound communication and positivemotivational techniques.Facilitatingseamless hand offs and communicating key information to peers, teammates andmanagement.Ability to workeffectively in a multi-tasking required environment.Provide courteousand respectful customer service in high pressure situations tointernal/external customers.Assure theintegrity of the inventory and assist in conducting physical inventories.Assist OperationsManager on special projects as required.Assist inmaintaining the security of the facility.Qualifications:You might be a greatfit if….Education/ExperienceBachelor’s degreepreferred; business, operations management, supply chain management, industrialengineering or a related field preferred.
