Job Description - Training and Development Specialist
ICS is seeking a talented Training and Development Specialist for one of our Fintech clients in Columbus, OH.
Responsibilities:
• Implementation and launch of our Technology/Business Resiliency Training Strategy. This includes, but is not limited to a specific focus on developing, designing, and delivering training content:
o Work with Subject Matter Experts to shape core content, assessments, exercises, and workshops
o Ensure content helps plan owners and application owner achieve our resiliency objectives
o Host and deliver training workshops for new and existing resources
o Define and measure key metrics to help assess impact and success of new initiatives
• Work with our communication team to market comprehensive training program
• Build strong partnerships with subject matter experts, key stakeholders, and clients to drive our Training Strategy
• Use digital learning to provide high-touch communication
• Work with key control partners to ensure processes, suppliers, and content meets our standards
• Ensure training materials and content remain evergreen
• Identify opportunities for improvement, share best practices and strive for global consistency, where feasible
• Flexibility to work various time zones during implementation
Requirements:
• Relevant Bachelor's degree in Education, Instructional Design, Human Resources or Learning & Development
• 3-5 years of experience in technical and leadership training/instruction, technical documentation and training development in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of adult learning theories, technical and leadership training development/delivery methodologies, and technical writing/editing
• Ability to effectively influence results through relationship building and handle change management with a planned structure.
• Excellent communication, organization skills and attention to detail.

• Track record of managing complex training initiatives or similar events
• PC competence, especially MS applications (Word, Excel, & PowerPoint)
• Preferred by not required experience with Captivate, Storyline, Connect, Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop
